Security Access Cards

All staff are eligible for a security access card, which provide you with access to nominated RMIT buildings.

CDN Visitors Passes

CDN currently have two visitors’ passes for casual staff and interns. These are kept in the at the administrators’ desk and must be authorized and signed for by the administrator before distribution.

Application Process for Staff Security Passes

All new staff must complete and lodge the Security Access Card Request Form from RMIT Security located at:

Security Reception, Building 5, Level 1 (entry via Chemistry Lane), City campus

Once the form is complete and approved you will need to visit RMIT Security to have your photo taken. RMIT Security will notify you via email when your staff access card is ready for collection. If you do not receive notification within 5 working days please contact RMIT Security to check the progress of your application.

1.1.3.                Lost or Stolen Card

If you or a staff member loses their security pass or have it stolen it must be reported immediately to the Security Control Centre so as the card can be deactivated.
