Cultural data for local government: research report, 2014

This report provides a review of data about culture, including the arts, from across Australia that local government might use for planning and evaluation. Of 96 datasets found, almost half were collected or collated by ABS, and the rest by 34 other agencies. Only 14 datasets were available at regional or LGA level, and most of these were state specific. 14 datasets relate to outcomes, with the rest capturing inputs and outputs of cultural activity.
